Idaho National Forest North Districts Tree Cooler Repair/Replace

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Part 12.  This announcement constitutes the only solicitation.  Quotes​ are being requested and a separate written solicitation will not be issued.   

Solicitation number 1240LR26Q0046​ is issued as a ​Request for Quote (RFQ).​ for ​The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), Forest Service (FS), Intermountain Region, Idaho Panhandle National Forest. This project is to replace the HVAC systems for two tree coolers located at the Bonners Ferry Ranger District and the Priest Lake Ranger District in the Idaho Panhandle National Forest. Both tree coolers have dated HVAC systems that cannot be easily repaired and do not meet modern energy efficiency standards. The main goal of this project is to provide fully functioning tree cooler HVAC systems with associated evaporator fans and necessary materials for the refrigeration system. Other goals of this project are to remove all humidifier and associated parts, update lighting, and for the cooler located at Priest Lake Ranger District to have a notification system of a power outage due to ongoing power fluctuations at that location.

This acquisition ​is set-aside for small business concerns.  The applicable North American Industry Classification Standard Code is ​811310.​  The small business size standard is ​$12.5 million.​  This acquisition is ​a Small Business Set-Aside.​  All responsible sources may submit a quotation which will be considered by the agency.
