Synopsis

Corrosion Control Cart and Electric Hydraulic Power Supply

The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division (NAWCAD) Lakehurst intends to issue an award on a non-competitive basis to Hydraulics International, Inc., Chatsworth, California (CAGE: 56529) to manufacture, assemble, and produce:

Five (5) Corrosion Control Carts, Small Units (P/N: 051497-100, NSN: 4920-01-536-1924)

One (1) Electric Hydraulic Power Supply (P/N: 040499-100, NSN: 4920-01-523-5919)

This is a Foreign Military Sales (FMS) procurement for the Japan Air Self Defense Force (JASDF) E-2D Program (FMS Case: JA-P-CVT) and the France E-2D Program (FMS Cases: FR-P-SBM and FR-P-GXM). The Government intends to procure the above items under the authority of 10 USC 3204(a)(1), as implemented by FAR 6.302-1, "Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements."

THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation, which shall be considered by the agency. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
