USCGC Stone Quick acting water tight doors and scuttles

STATEMENT OF WORK (SOW) FOR  

# STONE SMP2 FY26 Watertight Hatch Replacement

Background. CGC STONE is replacing 02 Quick Acting Watertight Doors (QAWTD) and 02 Quick Acting Watertight Scuttle (QAWTS) during the STONE SMP2 FY26 and requires the following parts IAW CG Drawing AS3167002 and CG Drawing AS3167003. These QAWTD/QAWTS are not supplied through the stock system and need to be fabricated by the vendor.

1. Scope.

The contractor shall provide the items listed below to support the replacement. This includes:

1. QAWTD,
   • P/N 2040-DAO-816868, 26"x66", 15 PSI, 10 Dogs, LH Swing, Hinge Ass PP, 6" fixed light with light cover, Assy 25-C, Crew Label Plate Backing, CG Drawing AS3167002. (pictured below)
   • Qty:2

1. QAWTS,

• QAWTS, P/N 2040-SPO-748657, Raised, WT 12" DIA, QA 13" Coaming, 15 PSI Steel, CG Drawing AS3167003. (pictured below)
• Qty: 2

 The contractor shall ensure that all parts and tools provided meet manufacturer specifications necessary to restore safe and reliable operation.

1. Objective. The objective of this requirement is to procure the parts to replace 04 QAWTDs/QAWTSs onboard CGC STONE
