Preventative Maintenance Gas Detection System (Re-Bid)

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared In Accordance With (IAW) FAR Overhaul  Subpart 12.2 “Solicitation, Evaluation and Award”, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice.  This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested.

The purpose of this requirement is to provide semi-annual on-site calibration and repair visits for the Hazardous Gas Detection System at Fleet Readiness Center East (FRCE) for in accordance with the Statement of Work (SOW).

Set Aside: This will be a 100% Total Small Business set-aside.  NAICS Code for this announcement is 811310 with a small business size standard of $12,500,000.00.  Quotes only from small business concerns will be accepted.  Quotes received from concerns that are not small businesses shall be considered nonresponsive and will be rejected. 

SOLICITATION CLOSING DATE:  All quotes must be received by the closing date/time on 13 October 2026, 3:00 pm EST.  Delivery method for submission of your quote is via email: christine.w.butler2.civ@us.navy.mil.  Quotes shall include at a minimum, the following:

• Pricing per line item as shown on the attached Request for Quote (RFQ).
• Vendor Contact Name, Phone Number, and e-mail Address
• Company Cage Code and Unique Entity ID Number
• Business Size: Small/Large/Other
• Demonstration of required experience (See Section L).

Conformance to SOW:  You must provide the supplies in accordance with the RFQ/SOW.  Unless an exception is specifically noted within your quote, you quote will be considered to be in complete conformance to the solicited requirements.

Basis for Selection:  The Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible Offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the Government, price and other factors considered. The following factors will be used to evaluate offers:

• Price
• Technical
• Experience

Cost of Quotes:  Expenses incurred in the preparation of quotes in response to this RFQ are the vendor’s sole responsibility and not reimbursable by the Government.
