400Hz Solid-State Ground Power Unit

Q&A as of 9/23/2026:

Q1. The description calls out for model UFC-45M which is a pushcart and in the description document, paragraph 3.1, it appears you are asking for a towable cart.  Please advise which is required.

A1. Yes, push cart is fine; will be used inside the hangar.

Q2. – The description of the AC input cable in paragraph 3.3 states adding an input plug matching the facility receptacle.  Will the ARNG be supplying the plug?  If the awardee needs to supply, the part number of the plug is required.

A2. Blank end of cord is fine; the Government will install our own plug end. 

The DCNG requires a a mobile, shore-powered (electric) solid-state Ground Power Unit (GPU) / Frequency Converter. The primary purpose of this equipment is to provide clean 400 Hz AC ground electrical power to support hangar and flightline maintenance, pre-flight troubleshooting, and servicing of military aircraft (specifically UH-60M Blackhawks).
