The purpose of this amendment is to publish official responses to vendor-submitted questions, and update the Performance Work Statement (PWS) to align system sanitization frequencies with manufacturer and installer specifications. The proposal submission deadline remains unchanged.
SUMMARY OF CHANGES
Site Visit: Formally clarify that no site visit will be conducted for this requirement, as the Contract Specialist and Contracting Officer are located remotely.
Questions & Answers (Q&A): Incorporate official Government answers to eleven (11) vendor-submitted technical questions regarding system models, storage tank sizes, piping diameters, and filtration specs.
PWS Section 2.2 Revision (Sanitization Schedules): Update the required cleaning and sanitization frequencies for each of the four (4) systems to align with certified installer and OEM specifications.
Mar Cor System: Weekly chemical sanitization / Nightly loop heat-disinfection.
Central Sterile (Defender) RO: Sanitization every three (3) months.
AmeriWater Centurion (Portable Units): Chemical sanitization every six (6) months.
Addition of Technical Attachment: Add Attachment 5 (Filter Technical Details) to provide comprehensive pre-filter, post-filter, carbon, and ultra-filter specifications for the systems.
AMENDMENT 0001 - SOLICITATION HT940726QE003
The purpose of this amendment is to update the Combined Synopsis/Solicitation to incorporate the following clause:
FAR 52.222-90, Addressing DEI Discrimination by Federal Contractors (Deviation)
The quote submission deadline remains unchanged: 09:00 AM EDT on 15 July 2026. All other terms and conditions of the original solicitation remain in full force and effect. Offerors must acknowledge receipt of this amendment in their quote submission.
Description: This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial services prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued.
The 88th Medical Group at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base (AFB), OH, requires a non-personal services contract to provide all labor, supervision, tools, and consumables necessary to perform scheduled preventative maintenance on government-owned Medical-Grade Reverse Osmosis (RO) water purification systems.
