Amendment No. 1 to Solicitation of a Concession Business Opportunity to Operate Guided Water Tours, Food & Beverage, and Retail Services within Lake Mead National Recreation Area

On September 2, 2026, the Service released the Prospectus for CC-LAKE004-27 for the operation of guided water tours, food and beverage, and retail services within Lake Mead National Recreation Area, with an original submission deadline of December 22, 2026, at 12:00 p.m. (Pacific Time). The Service is extending the submission deadline. The revised notice of intent to propose and submission deadlines are as follows:

• Notice of Intent to Propose: Thursday, January 7, 2027, at 12:00 p.m. (Pacific Time)
• Proposal Submission: Thursday, January 21, 2027, at 12:00 p.m. (Pacific Time)

Additionally, the following documents have been updated to reflect these revised dates, along with corrections of certain information, as detailed below.

1. Business Opportunity

• Inside Cover: Revised Notice of Intent to Propose and Proposals Due dates
• Notification of Intent to Propose (Page 2): Revised Notice of Intent to Propose date

2. Draft Contract

• Section 1 (Term of Contract): Corrected language to reference CC-LAKE004-27, with projected effective and expiration dates of December 1, 2027 and November 30, 2037, respectively.
• Section 10(c)(3) (Component Renewal Reserve): Corrected language to reflect the 1.25% Component Renewal Reserve described in the Business Opportunity.
• Section 11(b)(1) (Franchise Fees – Payments Due): Corrected language reflecting payment of a flat percentage fee structure each month.
