916 MXS Replacement Power Pit Lids

Seymouir Johnson AFB is issuing this solicitation to acquire BGSE Brand Name KC-46 PIO PIT Lids replacement and installation at Building 4919 in support of the 916 MXG. This requirement mandates the contractor to provide all management, tools, equipment, materials, transportation, and labor necessary to execute the project. Materials shall be alluminum and non-rusting, minimum of 400Hz output cable opening, and F900 certification rating required and skid proof grading. 

The contractor shall safely remove and dispose of the legacy PIT lids off-base, thoroughly clean and prepare the mounting surfaces, and install the new PIT lids along with new struts.

Additionally, the contractor must reinstall the existing government pushbutton controllers from the old lids onto the new assemblies, followed by a comprehensive inspection and testing of all associated electrical wiring to ensure proper functionality.
