The 30th Contracting Squadron is publicizing this SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE to gather industry information with respect to 20260001, Oak Mountain Fiber Relocation at Vandenberg SFB, CA. No solicitation is being issued at this time. This is not a Request for Proposal (RFP) or Invitation for Bid (IFB), and shall not be construed as a commitment by the Government to issue a solicitation or ultimately award a contract. Responses will not be considered as proposals, nor will any award be made as a result. The Air Force will not be responsible for any costs incurred by interested parties in responding to this notice. Any future solicitation, including specifications and/or drawings, will be made available only on the System for Award Management (SAM) (http://www.sam.gov/). Interested Parties are solely responsible for monitoring the aforementioned website for the release of a solicitation package and/or any updates and/or amendments.
The government is seeking to identify qualified, experienced, and interested small businesses capable of performing the type of work as described herein in order to help determine which small business set-aside to use. The following North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code applies to this request of information: 237130 "Power and Communication Line and Related Structures Construction". The size standard for this NAICS code is $45.0M.
The purpose of the project is to Engineer, Furnish, Install and Test a new 2 ea.-1.25-inch HDPE duct installation of one 36 strand, single-mode fiber optical cable along the proposed Station Road route. The Contractor shall utilize the installation method best suited for the proposed installation route along Station Road and install hand holes (HH) approximately 1700' apart and an underground conduit system for approximately 10,500 linear feet to install 2 ea. 1.25 inch ducts for an overall of 21,000 feet of 36-strand, G652D rated single mode fiber optic cable from an existing hand hole (HH) 75 AB to a new Contractor provided Patch Panel in Building 75. Utilizing approximately 750' of existing duct system from MH 75C-(MH465C) through MH 75B-(MH465B) and MH 75A-(MH465A) to building 75. See the attached Draft Statement of Work for more details. The proposed contract would be a firm-fixed-priced contract. All interested parties are invited to respond and must be currently registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) (http://www.sam.gov/).

The information requested will be used within the Air Force to facilitate decision making and will not be disclosed outside the agency. If your firm has interest in proposing on this requirement, please prepare and email your company name, address, point of contact (POC), telephone number, CAGE Code and DUNS Number, applicable NAICS codes, and Business size (i.e. Large Business, Small Business, SBA Certified 8(a) Program Participant, SBA Certified HUB Zone Firm, Service Disabled Veteran Owned Business, Woman Owned Business) and identify if you would self-perform or subcontract the proposed site work.
