Reagents, test kits and Supplies for an Atlas System

Sources Sought Synopsis for Market Research Purposes Only.

The purpose of this notice is to determine if responsible small or large business sources exist capable of fulfilling the needs identified in this effort, for market research purposes only. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this requirement is 334516, Analytical Laboratory Instrument Manufacturing.   The small business size standard is 1000 employees. The Government will use this information to determine the best acquisition strategy for this procurement. 

The Medical Readiness Contracting Office-West, JBSA - Fort Sam Houston, Texas, is seeking potential sources to provide Reagents, Test kits and Supplies for an Atlas System for the Food Analysis & Diagnostics Laboratory-Microbiology Department of Public Health Command at Brooke Army Medical Center, JBSA Fort Sam Houston, Texas. The consumables and kits are used to screen for Salmonella, E.coli O157:h7 and STEC E.coli, Listeria monocytogenes and Listeria species. 

The applicable NAICS code for this requirement is 334516, Analytical Laboratory Instrument Manufacturing The small business size standard is 1000 employees.

This requirement is expected to result in the award of a single Firm-Fixed Price contract. 

The anticipated period of performance is a 12-month contract with a delivery schedule. 

This notice is not a request for competitive quotes. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement, which shall be considered by the agency before the intended award date. Interested sources who submit data are responsible for appropriately marking information if it is proprietary in nature.

The Government shall not reimburse interested sources for any information provided. No requests for capability briefings will be honored as a result of this notice and any information provided will not be used as part of any subsequent solicitation requirement. No telephonic inquires will be honored. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.

NOTE: INTERESTED VENDORS MUST RESPOND TO THIS NOTICE IN WRITING TO THE BELOW POCs ON OR BEFORE 24 August 2026 BY 11:00 AM CST IN ORDER TO BE CONSIDERED.
