Vascular Access Ultrasound Systems (Brand Name or Equal)

The IV Therapy / Vascular Access Team at the Puget Sound VA Medical Center requires high-resolution vascular access ultrasound systems to safely place Peripherally Inserted Central Catheter (PICC) lines, midline catheters, and peripheral IV access for Veteran patients receiving chemotherapy, critical care, and extended infusion therapies.

Background & Need:

The IV Team currently operates legacy BD Site-Rite™ 8 ultrasound units that have been officially discontinued by the manufacturer and are no longer supported. To maintain uninterrupted patient care and modern clinical standards, the medical center requires three (3) replacement units.
