Notice of Intent to Solicit Only One Source -------- Rio Grande Valley Communications Group

The U.S. Department of Homeland Security, U.S. Immigration and Customs (ICE) Office of Acquisition Management (OAQ), on behalf of Homeland Security Investigations (HSI), intends to solicit from a single source under the authority of FAR 12.102(a) to Rio Grande Valley Communications Group (RGVCG) of McAllen, TX for public safety radio network services.

This procurement is being conducted under RFO Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Products and Commercial Services.

The Contracting Officer has determined that the circumstances of the contract action deem only one source is available based on the capabilities of the radio infrastructure of the RGVCG, which was established as a region-wide public safety radio network, operating under shared standards, allowing for communications interoperability between contracted entities.

This notice is for information purposes only and is not a request for quotation. A determination not to compete this proposed contract based on this notice is within the discretion of the Government Contracting Officer.

Interested parties who have the capability of providing same/similar services to the Rio Grande Valley area may submit a capabilities statement for consideration. Any responses to this notice shall be received no later than August 17, 2026 at 8:00am (EST).
