PLUMAS NF 2 EA Snowmobiles - SOLICITATION

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the
format in FAR Part 12. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Quotations are being
requested and a separate written solicitation will not be issued.  Solicitation number 1240LP26Q0202 is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ) for 2 EACH Snowmobiles Non-WCFE

This acquisition is set-aside for small business concerns. The applicable North American
Industry Classification Standard Code is 336999. The small business size standard is 1,000
Employees. This acquisition is a Total Small Business Set-Aside. All responsible sources may
submit a quotation which will be considered by the agency.

The USDA Forest Service requires the procurement of two snowmobiles to support the winter
recreation program and motorized over snow vehicle trail system maintenance, grooming
operations, and facility operations and maintenance. Snowmobiles must be capable of operating
in rugged terrain hauling personnel, equipment, supplies, and grooming drag to remote locations.
This Statement of Work (SOW) outlines the requirements, deliverables, and specifications for
the procurement of two over snow vehicle snowmobiles for the Plumas National Forest Trails
Program.
