Precision Grader Blade Attachment (Brand Name or Equal)

Purpose of Amendment 02 to this notice:

1. Set aside this requirement as 100% Small Business.

2. Update the acquisition strategy to "Brand Name or Equal."

The Government is seeking small business vendors capable of providing a brand name or equal solution that meets the salient characteristics outlined in the attached requirements document.

Interested vendors are invited to submit responses identifying alternative solutions. Any proposed alternative must be a 108-inch grader attachment that is fully compatible with the existing compact track loader without requiring equipment modifications or upgrades.

Purpose of Amendment 1 to this notice: Update issued to correct NAICS from 423810 to 333120.

The 502d Contracting Squadron issues this presolicitation notice for a brand-name or equal solution to the CASE Precision Grader Blade Attachment (GB108) to support high-precision trail maintenance equipment to preserve miles of training trails and acres of property at JBSA Lackland training sites. A brand-name specification is preferred to ensure compatibility and maintain warranties under existing equipment (CASE TV450B Compact Track Loader) but we are open to other possible solutions for this requirement. This acquisition is 100% small business set-aside under NAICS 333120 (Construction Machinery Manufacturing) and PSC 3830 (Truck and Tractor Attachments).

Pursuant to FAR 12.201-1(c)(2), the Government plans to utilize simplified commercial procedures by publicizing this notice, orally soliciting quotations directly from original equipment manufacturer (OEM) authorized dealers to maximize efficiency. The anticipated award date is September 15, 2026. Interested authorized resellers/dealers can email the Points of Contact (POCs).

Please note that this notice does not constitute a formal request for competitive quotes or a solicitation for offers. The Government will review all responses received by the closing date to determine if the requirement should be competed with non-OEM authorized dealers. The final decision regarding the procurement method remains at the Governments sole discretion. All information provided will be used exclusively for market research purposes. 

The Government reserves the right to cancel this solicitation, either before or after the closing date. In the event the Government cancels this solicitation, the Government has no obligation to reimburse an offeror for any costs.
