2015 AND 2016 USED CARS

The United States Embassy in Kingston, Jamaica invites quotations from authorized dealers of vehicles for the supply and delivery of two used vehicles that meet the following minimum specifications:

2015 Sedan, blue or black:

• 4-cylinder hybrid or 2.0-liter turbo
• AWD / 4WD
• Leather seats, seat heating/cooling, dual-zone climate control, and advanced infotainment systems
• Often equipped with anti-collision sensors, lane assist, traction control, and front/rear cameras
• Sedan body style, often with LED daytime running lights and HID headlamps.

2016 Minivan, white or black:

• 2.0L 3ZR-FAE Inline-4 petrol, or 1.8L Hybrid (2ZR-FXE)
• CVT (Continuously Variable Transmission)
• FWD (Front-Wheel Drive) or 4WD
• 7 or 8 seats
• Gasoline or Hybrid
• Double automatic sliding doors, Rear Climate Control, Reverse Camera

Responses must include a compliance checklist that shows where specifications for the quoted vehicles equal or exceed the minimum required specifications.

Quotations should be sent in USD excluding duties and taxes and must include supply availability, delivery time, warranty information, detailed product literature, statement of service support and availability of spares from the locally authorized dealer.

The Embassy will not arrange customs clearance for the vehicle purchased from the successful vendor or to independently pay any associated customs duties. Consequently, any services, clearances or shipping charges and arrangements which are required to deliver the vehicle to the Embassy at 30 Monroe Road, Kingston, Jamaica must be costed and guaranteed as part of a vendor’s quotation. Any quotation that declines to offer (and cost as appropriate) any such services cannot be judged technically acceptable.

All firms that respond to this request for quotation must at the time of submitting their quotations must have an active registration in the System for Award Management (SAM).
