NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE BRIDGE MODIFICATION – Human Space Flight Support (HSFS) II - FA2521-21-F-0106

The 325th Contracting Squadron at Tyndall Air Force Base intends to issue a sole-source bridge modification to existing contract FA2521-21-F-0106, awarded to ManTech Advanced Systems International Incorporated (Cage: 5N741). This modification is critical to ensuring the uninterrupted continuation of mission-essential Human Space Flight Support (HSFS) II services for Detachment 3, Patrick Space Force Base, FL.

This Firm-Fixed-Price sole-source bridge modification establishes a five-month base period of performance (10 September 2026 through 09 February 2027) and one three-month option period (10 February 2027 through 09 May 2027). The action is being executed under the Fair Opportunity Exception authority: FAR 16.505(b)(2)(i).

The contractor shall provide continuous, uninterrupted execution of mission-critical Department of War (DoW) support to NASA's crewed space flight operations. This performance-based requirement provides continuity of essential operations for NASA's crewed space flight programs, including Artemis, Commercial Crew, and Soyuz missions. Services required under this effort include, but are not limited to, the planning, coordination, execution, and sustainment of DoW capabilities to support launch, landing, and contingency operations for human spaceflight missions.
