4610--NSF Certified Bulk Solar Salt

For the VA Southern Nevada Healthcare System located at 6900 N Pecos Rd, North Las Vegas, NV 89086, a sole-source solicitation for Bulk Salt Delivery. 

Provide NSF-certified bulk extra-coarse rock salt for the industrial water softeners and associated RO systems.
• Deliver salt on an as-needed basis, recognizing that demand will vary with water usage, mechanical failures, and scheduled maintenance.
• Coordinate each delivery in advance with the facility to ensure appropriate quantity and timing.
• The brine system consists of:
o Brine maker (max salt capacity 20 tons)
o Brine day tank supplying industrial softeners for regeneration
Contractor shall be capable of delivering salt within 48 hours of request, including weekends and holidays.
