1. GENERAL DESCRIPTION

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial products or commercial services prepared in accordance with part 12. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Offers are being requested and a separate written solicitation will not be issued.

This requirement is for 14th Civil Engineer Squadron at Columbus Air Force Base, requires a contractor to deliver, remove existing legacy communication systems, and install new wireless headset and intercom systems across three critical fire apparatus: Engine 6, Engine 7, and Rescue 5. 

Solicitation number FA302226Q0322 is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ).

This acquisition is set-aside for small business concerns. This solicitation incorporates provisions and clauses by reference. The full text of provisions and clauses may be accessed electronically at www.acquisition.gov.

Please refer to the attached document titled "Combined Synopsis/Solicitation – Fire Truck Wireless Headsets System " for full RFQ formatting, requirements, and the Statement of Work (SOW). All documents, attachments, and future amendments are obtainable via this notice. It is the vendor’s responsibility to check this portal periodically for updates or amendments.

2. SUBMISSION OF QUESTIONS

3. SUBMISSION OF QUOTES

• Deadline: 7 August 2026 at 2:30 PM CDT
• Method: A completed Quote and Technical Narrative IAW SOW must be submitted via email to both POCs listed below.
• Subject Line Requirement: Include the solicitation number in the subject line: FA302226Q0322 - Quote Submission - [Your Company Name].
• Verification: Ensure you request and receive a "Received" confirmation email to verify your submission was delivered successfully.
• Formatting Note: Do not copy and paste the Statement of Work (SOW) into your Technical Narrative.

The Government is not obligated to accept any quotes or narratives submitted after the deadline.

4. SYSTEM FOR AWARD MANAGEMENT (SAM) REGISTRATION

All contractors who provide goods or services to the Department of Defense (DoD) must have an active registration in the System for Award Management (SAM) prior to award. Additionally, offerors must ensure that NAICS Code 334220 is active on their SAM profile. Failure to comply with SAM registration requirements will deem the offeror ineligible for award.
