MK 41 VERTICAL LAUNCH SYSTEM (VLS) OVERHAUL

The award resulting from this RFP will be an Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) supply contract with prepriced ELINS for the Overhaul of MK 41 Vertical Launch System (VLS) Cell Catches and Uptake Hatches.  Ordering periods will span five (5) years.  Hatches will be picked up and returned to SERMC at Naval Station Mayport in Jacksonville, Florida.  Overhauls will be conducted at the contractor's facility.  The contractor's overhaul site and personnel must be certified by Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWC) Port Hueneme, the MK 41 VLS In-Service Engineering Agent (ISEA), to perform VLS cell and uptake hatch assemblies through the MK 41 VLS Cell and Uptake Hatch certification programs.
