Notice of Intent to Award Sole Source F-22 Safety Railing System

The 673d Contracting Squadron at Joint Base Elmendorf-Ricardson (JBER), Alaska, intends to award a firm fixed price, sole-source purchase to HHI Corporation, 736 West Harrisville Road, Ogden, UT 844042607 under the authority of R-FAR Part 12.201.1. The proposed contract action is for the purchase of two F-22 Aircraft Personnel Safety Railing Systems. 
This notice is not a request for competitive quotes and no solicitation is available. The circumstances of this contract action deem only a single source is reasonably available to fulfill the stated requirement. Interested organizations who believe they have the ability to provide the required product may submit their capabilities and qualifications in writing to daniel.swoyer.1@us.af.mil NLT 12:00 AM AKDT, Thursday, 23 April 2026. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed effort on a full and open competition basis, basd upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the Government. Oral communications will not be accepted in response to this notice. No request for proposals or quotes will be issued based upon this Notice of Intent.
