HSM-78 requires reliable and mission-capable radio communications to support safe and effective flight line operations. Current handheld radio equipment used by flight line personnel, maintenance teams, and Squadron Duty Office personnel has reached end-of-life. Replacing these obsolete systems is mission-critical to ensure safe, effective, and interoperable fixed-base communications.
