Solicitation - 1G Symmetrical Internet

Dyess AFB has a requirement to Install 1 Gbps symmetrical internet connection in bldg 4230.. 

The Government reserves the right to cancel this solicitation, either before or after the closing date and prior to any contract award. In the event the Government cancels this solicitation, the Government has no obligation to reimburse an offeror for any costs.

Deadline for Quotes: All quotes pertaining to this solicitation shall be submitted NLT 28 September 2026 12:00 (CDT),
to the email addresses: cade.watson@us.af.mil and way.spikes@us.af.mil.

QUOTE SUBMISSION INFORMATION: Submit signed and dated offers to the email specified in this solicitation at or before the exact time specified in this solicitation. E-mail is the required method for offeror’s submission. 

1.     Complete Page 2 of RFQ (or contractor equivalent*)
2.     The contractor shall provide a technical approach to meet all key steps outlined in the PWS and shall address at a minimum:
     a. Hardware Provisioning & Demarcation Handoff: Detail the networking equipment to be installed at Bldg 7320 to support the customer's fiber connection.
     b. Network Configuration & IP Allocation: Describe the setup of the 1 Gbps symmetrical service and the allocation of a public static IPv4 address.
     c. RFC 2544 Performance Testing: Detail the testing procedures to verify speed (≥ 1 Gbps), low packet loss (< 0.1%), and latency before handoff.
     d. SLA & Equipment Warranty: State the service uptime guarantees, support response times, and warranty/repair terms for contractor-installed hardware
3.  Proposed Activation Lead Time: The contractor must state their lead time and explicitly confirm their capability to meet the October 8, 2026 operational deadline.

* The offeror is not required to use Page 2 of this RFQ; however, if you choose not to use it, all of the information from Page 2 must be included in your offer.
