Notice of Intent to Contract with a Single Source

NOTICE OF INTENT TO CONTRACT WITH A SINGLE SOURCE: The Federal Aviation Administration intends to award a single source contract to L & M Office Furniture Inc.

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), Mike Monroney Aeronautical Center proposes to procure 20 new 8x8 workstations 27 and new 6x8 workstations for the Multipurpose Building in Oklahoma City. The acquisition will utilize single source procedures as L & M Furniture Inc is the only known source capable of meeting the FAA’s requirements for this acquisition.

In accordance with the FAA Acquisition Management System, AMS 3.2.2.4, the purpose of this announcement is to inform industry of the basis of the FAA's decision to contract with a selected source when it is determined to be in the best interest of the FAA. 

This announcement is for informational purposes only and not a Solicitation/Request for Proposal. This requirement will be awarded to L & M Office Furniture Inc. and is not available for full and open competition.   All questions pertaining to this announcement should be addressed in writing to Contract Officer joe.oglesby@faa.gov no later than 5 pm (CT) on September 11, 2026.
