The Indian Health Service, Navajo Area, Shiprock Service Unit, U.S. Hwy 491 North in Shiprock, NM 87420, has an upcoming requirement for services to remove and replace an Automatic Transfer Switch (ATS) supporting two life safety branches and one critical equipment. The ATS is to support the hospital during a power outage with continuous electrical power. The service also includes installing new cable conduits, wire controls, software/data integration, and testing/commissioning to verify operation and compliance with applicable codes. The contractor will provide a temporary ATS while the project is in progress.
The projected period of performance is August 1, 2026, to December 31, 2026. The North American Industry Classification System or NAICS code is 238210 Electrical Contractors and other Wiring installation Contractors with a small business size standard of $19M.
The Request for Quotations No. 75H71026Q00189 in accordance with 12.201-1 will be issued on or by July 06, 2026. Evaluation factors may include technical capability to meet the government needs, and price. Quotes will be due by July 13, 2026, at 4:30 PM MDT. The acquisition is an ISBEE set aside.
In accordance with 52.204-7 the offeror shall have an active Federal Government contracts registration in the System for Award Management (SAM) when submitting an offer or quotation in response to this solicitation and at the time of award.
