Esprit Computer Aided Manufacturing Software Maintenance Limited Source Justification

The U.S. Army Contracting Command- New Jersey (ACC-NJ) on behalf of the U.S. Army Combat Capabilities Development Command- Armament Center (DEVCOM-AC) intends to issue a Request for Quote (RFQ) for Esprit Computer Aided Manufacturing (CAM) Software Maintenance renewal. This RFQ is being issued as a sole source requirement under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b)(1) to Hexagon Manufacturing Intelligence Inc. as they are the sole creator, developer and distributor of ESPRIT CAM software. The redacted version of the limited competition justification is attached to this notice. The resultant purchase order shall be awarded as a Firm Fixed Price, commercial order, with a period of performance of 12 months. 

The SYNOPSIS DOES NOT CONSTITUTE A RFQ. Further, the synopsis does not guarantee for release of a future RFQ and should not be construed as a commitment of any kind by the U.S. Government. Responses to this synopsis are not considered proposals and/or quotes and cannot be accepted by the Government to form a binding contract.
